Market research has shown that a major barrier to getting green stormwater infrastructure installed on a residential scale is that property owners do not know who to call or which contractors are experienced in GSI

Malama Maunalua and 3Rwater, Inc. are addressing this barrier by hosting a contractor-homeowner matchmaking and educational mini workshops covering several common GSI practices for residential properties this Sat December 2nd! There will be lots of giveaways including native plants from Hui Kū Maoli Ola and, native plant books and a rain barrel from Roth Ecological Design Int. LLC. 

Rainwater catchment vendors, City and County of Honolulu and HUI O KOOLAUPOKO are also partners and will be leading some of the workshops including the basics to install rainwater catchment, rain gardens and permeable pavement. Hope to see you there!
